RAPPING AND TWERKING IN MALAWI SDA UNIVERSITY

SDA University in Malawi allegedly hosted entertainment with some of its students rapping and twerking on stage.

Like the church, every SDA educational institution has a mission to lead people to Christ and prepare the youth for the second coming. However, the most recent entertainment in Malawi Adventist University seems to contradict the mission of the institution and the mission of the church.

“Whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God " (Corinthians 10:31).

This type of entertainment does nothing but degrades morality and corrupts the youth. It seems the Adventist University in Malawi is conforming to the world with the type of entertainment that happened on their campus.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2).

"The desire for excitement and pleasing entertainment is a temptation and a snare to God’s people, and especially to the young. Satan is constantly preparing inducements to attract minds from the solemn work of preparation for scenes just in the future. Through the agency of worldlings he keeps up a continual excitement to induce the unwary to join in worldly pleasures. There are shows, lectures, and an endless variety of entertainments that are calculated to lead to a love of the world; and through this union with the world faith is weakened." - MYP 373.1

So I think we should not allow anything that has the potential of leading our youth to the world in our universities or any other institution of the SDA church.

AMAZING DISCOVERIES AND MATTHEW SCHANCHE

Matthew Schanche of Amazing Discoveries announced yesterday that he was no longer with AD ministries. He published the following on his new YouTube channel: “Blessings, brothers and sisters. After years of working together, my journey of spreading the message with Amazing Discoveries has come to an end. It has become evident that my beliefs and convictions no longer align with AD's current direction and teachings. I've received numerous questions about my absence, and in this video, I respectfully share where I stand on key issues, why I can no longer be associated with certain views promoted by AD, and discuss what comes next.” It appears that Matthew was fired because he did not agree with AD on the identity of the “King of the North” and the “king of the south”. Walter Veith recently published a video showing that he and the Clash of Minds ministry are not affiliated with Amazing Discoveries. He said:  “We are in no way affiliated with Amazing Discoveries...and have no in...

SOUTH AFRICAN PASTOR CLAIMS JESUS WILL COME ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2025

A South African pastor called Joshua Mhlakela claims that the second coming of Jesus will occur on September 23 or 24, 2025. He mentioned in a YouTube interview that Jesus revealed the date of His second coming to him with some believing his prophecy. He said: I was sleeping early in the morning, I woke up and switched on the light. As I was reading the Bible in that morning, Jesus appeared in front of me in a white robe. He said to me “on the 23rd and the 24th of September 2025, I will come to take my church”.  However, the Bible is clear that: No man knows the day and the hour of His second coming. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” - Matt. 24:36. There will not be secret rapture. “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.”- Rev. 1:7 The second coming will be audible. 1 Thess. 4:16 also says: “ F...

MICHIGAN CONFERENCE PRESIDENT ISSUES NEW LETTER TO THE VILLAGE CHURCH

On August 3, 2025, the village SDA church had a business meeting to reinstate Dr. Conrad Vine back to the pulpit. The meeting was very successful. However, the interim pastor at the village church and the leadership of the Mi Conference seemed not to happy about the action of the church. So on September 5,2025, the Mi conference issued a letter to the Village church that indicates that the General conference has been called into the matter. Below is the wording of the letter "September 5, 2025 Dear Village Church, Greetings dear brothers and sisters in Christ. We understand that on August 3, the Village Seventh-day Adventist Church met in business session and voted to reinstate Dr. Conrad Vine to the Village pulpit. We also understand this decision was based on Dr. Vine's explanation that the Michigan Conference's action did not align with his reading of the Church Manual. The decision to restrict Dr. Vine from preaching in Michigan pulpits was voted by the Conference Ex...
